We used LastPass at the Leadership level to ensure that any and all critical application credentials, and credentials for internal on-prem services, were available to the full team. This allowed us to respond quickly to emergencies regardless of which members of the Leadership team were online or available at the time.
  • Storing passwords and other credentials.
  • Sharing passwords and other credentials with users/sets of users.
  • Organizing credentials into custom categories for easier navigation.
  • Allowing users with shared credentials to use those credentials in the UI.
  • Accessing multiple sets of credentials for the same service in the UI.
LastPass is great if you're looking for a lightweight service to store credentials and you'd like to share those credentials with a defined group of other users. The UI can be clunky, especially when storing on-prem credentials or storing multiple sets of credentials for the same service, but the price is right and the security policies are top-notch.

We used LastPass to create some security with the apps and programs we use between all of our company devices. The product addresses the issues that come with having so many hands accessing devices and devices leaving the office. It has enhanced the security of our data and with everyone working remotely, it has given us peace of mind so that as an executive team we can focus on bigger things such as growing the company.
  • Allowing that single sign on to access all password protected apps.
  • Streamlining our employee access to all of our company records and tools.
  • Appreciate the Admin control that LastPass allows us to have.
  • Customer support is somewhat of a struggle, especially if you are trying to get something fixed ASAP.
  • LastPass is a little more costly than some of its competitors.
We appreciate LastPass for the ability it has to assist us in keeping our records and data secure and creates a form of encryption that may not exist in the app. Keeping our information safe, being in the software industry, is high in our priorities. Gives us the peace of mind that as our remote employees work from where ever, we can feel confident that their work system as well as ours is protected.

We used to use LastPass for business for secure and efficient management of all passwords needed for all the services we use daily. For instance, if we needed to send one computer repaired or get a new one, we just logged out of LastPass in the old one and logged back into the new one, and we are back in business in seconds.
  • Seamlessly onboarding workstations or personnel.
  • The security scores were annoying sometimes
LastPass is the best for on-boarding and off-boarding workstations and personnel. If you are a new company without any old password systems then LP is perfect, but if you still need to support old passwords the scoring systems get in your way, or you need to start configuring it so that it is less intrusive. I personally do not like to see any red on my dashboards.

I use Lastpass to manage my password and protect my login credentials. It also makes it easy for users to grant my VA access to platforms and files in real-time. What is also good is that the software allows you to strengthen existing passwords and generate new ones to provide maximum security for your accounts. It is not very difficult to use and worth the time.
  • Password protection
  • Passwords management made easy
  • Shared access
  • Password generation
  • Come up with an easier way to users to retrieve accounts if password is lost or forgotten
  • Improve customer service response time
I was working jointly on a social media project with my VA and needed to share information and files back and forth. I used Lastpass for this purpose and despite some hiccups -it was our first time using the software- it nevertheless was a good option for us. I like the fact that you can share access to your business page and still have control over its security.

LastPass for Business ensures we comply with GDPR rules around saving sensitive information in a secure manner. We disabled saving passwords in the browser and mandated the use of LastPass. When linking a private vault, private accounts are automatically saved in the private vault. We also use it to share accounts within departments.
  • Autofill on IOS.
  • Share passwords with others.
  • Use their Authenticator app as a second factor.
  • Android app - it often does not pop up when using autofill.
  • Browser extension can be slow when logging in.
  • Support is US based so can be slow for EU citizens.
It works well in business settings where you want to define policies on how LastPass for Business should behave. Single Sign-On also is nice to have a method. You can share MFA codes when using the browser extensions. On iOS it works flawlessly. But on Android autofill often does not work, leading to frustration for users. You can choose for the data location to be US or EU if you ask for it.

We use LastPass for Business in our organization to manage all the passwords that we have for our customer systems. We are addressing the problem of getting away from using a common password for those systems, and can randomly generate them, thereby increasing security. The scope is pretty wide, due to the number of clients we have, and also, it's a way we can provide this same service to our customers who have for years relied on Post-It notes to the monitor, or under the keyboard.
  • Random password generation.
  • Integration into Chrome browser for ease of filling out login.
  • Easy to use interface to browse and manage all passwords.
  • Easily shared out over our organization.
  • At times, I believe the timeout on the software is a bit too soon. I believe once authenticated, you should be signed in for at least 15-30 days.
  • When filling out forms for login, sometimes the LastPass for Business button overlaps the eyeball icon to reveal what you are typing, making it difficult to see.
  • Sometimes when searching for information in the Vault, I have noticed that it will not respond to the search criteria. It will appear as if nothing exists, but if you scroll down to it, it's there. So something with the interface needs improving.
LastPass for Business is suitable for those in business that has access to multiple websites with sensitive information. People such as the accounting department, human resources, and the like should be using a password manager, and to that end, randomly generated passwords to mitigate hacking. It is also well suited for any MSP that has to manage a plethora of passwords for servers, website logins, etc. This may not be appropriate for businesses that are comprising a sole proprietor, or 5 persons. This is more for larger organizations in my experience.

We use LastPass for Business to store and share all passwords related to applications used by the business. It also houses logins to various instances of our software that we need for support/configuration purposes. LastPass for Business is so easy to use and the extension is particularly useful for filling passwords on websites. It saves probably 30 seconds per login. When you log in to 10-50 sites on any given day, this is particularly helpful. It also helps you stay in your flow. Finally, I have recently started using the LastPass password generator and have found it very valuable.
  • Password Management
  • Password Sharing
  • Simplifying the Login Process
  • Time saving on logins (finding, copying, pasting passwords and other credentials
  • Fill functionality with Chrome Extension is easy
  • When you have sites that have the same root URL but different login pages, it would be good if it did a better job of distinguishing what page you were on to offer up the right password.
  • I think the generator would be great if it immediately prompted you to create a record when you generate the password.
  • I wish there was an easy export of personal vault passwords, not shared.
LastPass is simple, easy to use, os, and browser agnostic. Autofill is handy if sometimes clumsy. If you have to manage hundreds or thousands of usernames and passwords across sites (or even just a few), LastPass makes it simple to catalog, access, and share credentials. If you have to regularly generate secure passwords, LastPass makes it easy to do so in a manageable and scalable way. This helps to lessen the temptation to resort to less secure passwords for convenience's sake.

It is a great password management solution. Every employee manages their own passwords while sharing passwords to some corporate accounts with other employees. Everything is transparent and seamless whether using Macs, Windows, iOS, or Android. Also, managers can change the shared credentials and notify the users that share access or not. It is transparent. Next time they need to authenticate, it will just use the latest set of credentials.
  • desktop and laptop browser integration via plugin
  • smartphone app for automatic authentication on apps and browsers
  • ability to share credentials with others
  • password vault has security assessments and scores
  • better integration on iOS, seems to work slightly better on Android
  • better integration with windows 10/11 desktops, right now is a separate application
  • plugin for Firefox seems underpowered compared with the plugin for Chrome/Edge
LastPass for Business is a great password manager. It keeps all the credentials in sync over the cloud. It just needs to remember one password, and you can set the vault to unlock using fingerprint, face, or other methods. The ability to share credentials with other users makes it a breeze to allow others in the organization to access credentials without having to email them or send them otherwise.

I use LastPass for Business in order to manage passwords for any service or product I signed up for. It's extremely handy when you have so many passwords, and it helps keep me organized. With what I do, I needed this product so I wouldn't have the daunting task of trying to remember all the passwords. I love that it updates any password changes with ease. In the event I do forget it, all I need to do is go to the LastPass portal, click on the "Launch" button to go to the website I need to go to, and it automatically logs me onto that site. When it comes to how often I use this software, I use it daily. I daily need LastPass to do tasks such as composing training, updating e-learning platforms, gathering online tools for consultation purposes, knowing any direct website sub-links, going on online portals to update any certifications needed, etc. There were a few times I forgot the main password to log in to LastPass for Business. Imagine that, lol. No problem. All I had to do was click on "Forgot Password," follow the easy resetting process, and I'm back in business right away.
  • The easy process of resetting passwords.
  • Unlimited storage of website information and their passwords arranged alphabetically.
  • The ability to click on the eye symbol to see the encrypted password.
  • It's been great so far. I don't have any complaints.
  • I believe LastPass for Business is doing any excellent job.
  • It's helpful not only in having everything alphabetized but additionally categorized, so I know where to go.
As previously mentioned, it's great for anyone small business owner like myself who has to visit many websites on a daily basis and who also has to have a password for just about every website. Gone are the days of having a paper backup; using LastPass for Business helps reduce the stress and busyness of my life. It's one of the automated online tools that I'm glad to provide me the option to export my information if I want to print a paper copy or save it on my computer. I'm happy I have the option to import information to be saved. I find LastPass for Business the best, and I haven't finished learning all the features yet. With the easy navigation of LastPass' website, the features aren't hard to learn, and video training is provided.

With a lot of software and accounts flying around today's modern businesses, it's critical to be able to securely access and keep log in information as simply as possible. Similarly, reducing the time our information technology experts have to spend helping our users manage, and recover passwords and account information.

We utilize it for shared accounts, and personal account managing. Keeping everyones information in one place truly does help us keep our information in line
  • Security
  • Ease of Use
  • Cross platform use
  • Some of the Extensions are not up to date
  • Integration with some iOS system preferences are not as good as other competitors
I believe that last pass for business can be a very good piece of software for small to medium sized companies who need to keep things in better organization then sticky notes or in 'little black books'. This will be a major step for your company in the security and organization of your digital assets

LastPass is used by my entire team at work, including me. We currently use it to store usernames, passwords, API keys, etc for our website, client accounts. LastPass has been a game-changer for our organization. The application allows us to be more efficient when logging into websites. It also allows us to share credentials securely between our various teams, making the whole process more efficient. The application has been a lifesaver for us. As our team continues to grow, we are looking to expand our use of LastPass.
  • LastPass helps us to store a lot of passwords and credentials in one secure location, which makes it easy to keep track of is more secure than storing them on a file or sheet
  • It allows sharing credentials between users, making the process of sharing more secure and also great to store work-related credentials as well.
  • It has an easy to use interface that allows you to quickly login to sites and manage your passwords. This makes it easy for our team to use.
  • User Interface seems to be a bit outdated and needs improvement
  • There should be chat option to contact with the customer support for the issue resolution
The most common scenario for which we use LastPass for Business is when our employees are working remotely or traveling. As the name suggests, the primary purpose of this product is to help employees store and access their passwords securely and quickly. When we're away from our office, it's critical that our employees have access to the same information that they would if they were at work because it would be difficult to retrieve information if we lost our laptops or some other issues. We also use it to sync our personal accounts with our business accounts, so that our personal and professional information is accessible from anywhere.

LastPass for Business is a fantastic software solution for so many reasons! We use it because "too many tabs are open", and it's just exhausting having to always remember passwords, email addresses, accounts, and payment cards. It's vital for us to maintain lengthy passwords (20+ characters) and LastPass makes this so easy. My team can access the sites they need, when they need, without having to ask - and that's a massive load off my shoulders. It's secure, easy to use, and absolutely the most important tool in our arsenal. I wouldn't run a business, or a family, without it.
  • Autofill - it auto-fills your account details (and payment cards) with just one click. Incredible timesaver.
  • Password Generator - it creates unique and secure passwords automagically, one less thing to worry about.
  • Secure Notes - it has a place to store secure notes, like insurance policies, bank accounts, driver's license numbers/images, wi-fi passwords, database/servers, software licenses, etc.
  • Payment Cards - great for adding credit cards, personal and business, that you can use to fill in for online/mobile shopping. It's easily one of the best features!
  • Two-Factor Authentication
  • It doesn't always work. There are times, I will have to log in to the app, copy the login/pass, then go back to the previous website/app to input my details. It can be a little cumbersome and iffy. It sometimes works, sometimes doesn't, and I have yet to figure out why. It's not a deal-breaker, just takes a little more time. Still wouldn't be caught without it.
  • Sometimes buggy when searching for a certain login/pass when there are multiple saved accounts for that site.
For any business that needs/wants to save time and/or money, LastPass for Business is a necessity. It's a game-changer and will release the burden of having to remember so many important details, for you and your team. No more fear, concern, or anxiety about losing or forgetting - just a deep breath of fresh air, something that the business world needs, and something that is often overlooked or over complicated. It solves so many problems at once, with ease.

My family uses LastPass for the same reasons as above. I have access to my mom's LastPass account, meaning that all of their important details, accounts, and files are just a click away if something were to happen. There's security in that, and it just makes our life easier.

We have teams of people spread out around the world and some departments use the same tools that share the same password. LastPass for Business allows us to easily and securely create passwords that are being shared across departments. We established a process when creating a new credential that forces our team members to use the "auto-generated" password option within LastPass so we avoid any random "12345" less secure passwords.
  • Store password
  • Generate more secure passwords
  • Share passwords across departments
  • Chrome extension
  • Random log outs
  • Android app had issues
Well suited for:

  1. If you have a need to share passwords across departments, this will do the trick.
  2. Auto-generate password is great and convenient.
  3. Having access to all your stored passwords across multiple devices is awesome.
Not well suited for:
  1. Smaller companies could use Chrome password manager and they should be fine.
  2. The android app could use improvement.

LastPass for business allows our employees to securely manage their logins for services we use. It also allows teams to collaborate using shared resources such as secure notes, document sharing, and access management to logins that groups share credentials for. Over the years, LastPass has improved their chrome extension, making it easier for our employees to use this from their first day. Tools available to administrators has also improved along with documentation for security considerations.
  • Generating secure passwords
  • Implementing 2 factor authentication
  • Creation of secure notes for sensitive information
  • Chrome extension sometimes lags when logging in
LastPass for Business is great for onboarding new employees and creating a framework for using services at work securely. Documentation makes it easy for administrators to implement their own internal security policies and understand changes to services that occur when LastPass provides feature updates.

As a company using many and different websites and applications every day, we are very thankful that LastPass makes our life much easier. We are currently on their business plan which is very affordable and secure. We use LastPass on mobile phones and PC. It is a very intuitive service to navigate and has a great interface. LastPass also offers Single Sign-on (SSO) and we are considering trying this new feature soon.
  • Generates strong passwords.
  • Autofill passwords.
  • 2Factor auth.
  • Easy to use.

LastPass is being used by my organization as a means to securely share login credentials for certain third-party services as well as store login information for individual user accounts with certain other systems. The entire organization is using LastPass and as such has enabled us to monitor usage, password strength, and better control access to our accounts.
  • Encourage good passwords: with the ability to easily generate a good, secure password that doesn't need to be typed in moving forward, it encourages users to have good passwords since they don't need to think of them and then remember them later on.
  • Credential sharing: with the team solution it is very easy to share credentials when needed and revoke access when complete without ever revealing the password.
  • Browser integration: the browser plugin makes it easy to use as it is always available whenever a password/login is required.
  • Sharing outside the organization could be improved by not being limited to 5 users per shared folder as sometimes it is necessary to share credentials to more people.
  • I haven't had much luck with the automatic password change feature for some services, but that's really not a big deal.
LastPass is well suited when operating within an organization that has a lot of people coming and going who need to have access to restricted resources. We make use of a lot of interns and it is nice to be able to grant access to various services through LastPass when they arrive (never sharing the actual passwords) and then easily remove access when their internship ends. LastPass is also well suited in enforcing good security practices with strong passwords.

LastPass is a reliable tool. We are using it in our organization for securing our business account passwords because it is a single platform available in the market which is giving outstanding protection. The authentication policy of this software does not put its customers in any qualm and enigma as it is quite simple. The feature I like the most is the option of adding trusted friends who help in an emergency if my software gets hang or any trouble occurs. I can easily share passwords among my employees. It allows me to build powerful passwords by keeping me informed regarding its strength.
  • LastPass has lessened my worries to a great degree since it secures and shields all of my personal information.
  • I not only use it for my business purposes but also avail it for my personal life to connect with my friends and family.
  • It saves my time of entering and re-entering my passcodes since it auto-fills the spaces once it saves them.
  • It also saves information regarding my credit card according to my choice.
  • I feel secure with the security of two-factor authentication.
  • Browser extension is the more smart way of synchronizing passwords.
  • Sometimes, I have to face some delays while logging in.
  • Password resetting must be easy and secure.
  • Data encryption security features lack some advanced options which are available in other password protection tools.
I believe that an employee or an online business professional can’t have such privacy that he receives via LastPass. It saves information about credit cards, shopping cards, Wi-Fi, and the rest of the business passwords so it will help you if you even forget the information. The master password is an amazing feature that will enable you to reach the security and password settings. There is only one master password which is needed to be remembered in the mind otherwise it has given much easiness.

At our nonprofit organization, we use LastPass for Business for almost everything. It is a better alternative than having to remember passwords or write them down on post-it notes, especially as most of our staff has transitioned to currently working from home at the moment. It solves most of our information technology and cybersecurity issues.
  • LastPass has a vault that saves and stores organizational wide credentials
  • It saves time from having to ask a coworker for their login information
  • It takes the stress out of worrying about internet security related threats
  • It doesn't allow people to copy and save passwords from shared folders into a personal vault
  • There should be a feature that allows more users to be admins with access to the console
  • LastPass should only save work-related passwords when logged into G suite
  • Too many folks use LP for Business for personal password protection
For many nonprofits, political campaigns, issue advocacy organizations and the like, LastPass for Business is well-suited for most company needs with 50+ employees. For smaller workplaces with less people, there's very little need since the cost can be a bit expensive and too much of a hassle to opt-in to, but well worth it if dealing with sensitive or confidential information.

LastPass is the ultimate password manager, which allows us to share account sign-in details with others on our team without disclosing the username and password.
As the team has grown, the worry was always how do we share and allow access to the business-related account with new members and then restrict or revoke access to those that no longer work to leave ourselves vulnerable? LastPass makes those fears, concerns and anxiety all disappear. In essence, this tool has saved us time and provides peace of mind and confidence online with all our online accounts.
  • Share passwords: One of the key features for the business was being able to securely share our password or provide access into particular business accounts for our team members.
  • Autofill: Something I didn't personally feel I needed till you're online purchasing multiple times a week. This feature allows you to auto-fill those details with a click of a button and saves you time.
  • Generate Passwords: We are ultimately overwhelmed with the number of passwords we have, and it's made even worse when that 90-day comes, and you have to think of a new password that you have to remember. This feature allows you to create unique and strong passwords and generate ones when you're all out of new password suggestions.
  • Improvements to the Vault access via desktop: It always seems to take me through to the score centre, and then still the frustration sits when you can't get out of that screen. LastPass needs to provide simple and straight-forward pathways to access the Vault on the desktop when a user wants and needs the access.
  • A faster way to share access to accounts with others on the move: The mobile version of LastPass could be improved in making it easier and faster in sharing account details and access with others in your team.
  • Manually entering payment card details: I dislike having to manually enter card details via mobile. How great would it be for LastPass to have a camera feature that allows you to take a photo of your card and then it populates the information scanned. I absolutely recommend and have recommended LastPass to friends, colleagues and small businesses that I have worked with as they start to scale and need easier ways to share security information. I think LastPass is also very useful for sole traders working on their own and are overwhelmed with having to remember so many passwords for their business.

We have two departments leveraging the platform to share access to resources in use by those departments. We have also put the platform to use to harden the passwords currently in use and allow for the simplification of adding new team members and removing those that department from the company. We have also enabled stronger multifactor access to those passwords and created a central place to manage all of those passwords for our corporate technology team. It addresses weak and repetitively used passwords
  • HardenPasswords
  • Centralized Management of users
  • Complex Multifactor
  • Great Customer Support
  • end user education needs work
  • understand admin access roles
  • moving users between groups
Any business that does not have an identity management platform can help with password and account management for SAAS applications. I don't think it can scale for large enterprise, but I never looked into or asked about that

We currently have LastPass for Business rolled out to our entire organization. LastPass for Business presents an opportunity to streamline logins, password management (no more sticky notes!), and enhance user security. One of our favorite uses is the linked accounts feature. Rather than having to log out and in to a personal account or constantly check a personal device, users can link their personal LastPass for Business account (or create one) and securely access their personal vault without needing to worry about IT or anyone gaining access to their personal passwords, notes, and credit cards. We even have the ability to force this feature to help users keep their personal data separate from their enterprise data. Another great use is that it help users verify legitimate websites; if the URL doesn't match, then their saved password will not be shown, prompting the user to take a closer look at what website is asking them to log in. It definitely reduces some of our security stresses.

  • The linked accounts feature
  • Easy reporting and dashboard features built in to the admin console
  • Plethora of pre-built policies that make management easy
  • ADFS login makes user management a lot easier
  • Occasional check-ins from our LastPass for Business CSM
  • No admin policy to block certain sites from saving passwords (Useful to prevent saving AD passwords)
  • A bit difficult to configure users who previously used their work email to sign up for LastPass for Business; it sometimes requires deletion of their old accounts
  • There is a bit of redundancy, but not so much the fault of LastPass for Business as it is varying URLs for login/authentication pages; it would be nice to see a little more intuition behind the software on when information should not be prompted to be saved (such as MFA codes, verification codes, root of the URL matching an existing URL for a saved credential)
LastPass for Business is great for any IT department concerned about securely storing and sharing passwords as needed. If you have concerns regarding end-users putting passwords on sticky notes, this saves you many major headaches.

We use LastPass to manage secrets and passwords for our whole organization. It solves the problem of needing to share credentials in a secure way while also providing a way to organize and easily access those credentials. LastPass is focused on the security and we hope to expand into use their MFA & SSO options in the near future.
  • Secure design.
  • Easy to use by non-technical staff.
  • Adaptable to different user needs.
  • Granular administrative control.
  • SSO and how to use LastPass as a SAML IdP is confusing.
  • MFA is free for Enterprise, but then it's not. Costs for MFA after free period are unclear.
LastPass is the most professional solution I am aware of for credential management that remains easy enough for everyone in an organization to use without significant training. It doesn't matter how good a product is if your users don't use it and use it correctly, your credentials are only as safe as your least experienced / security aware user who has access to them!

The organization uses Lastpass to manage all of the passwords throughout the company. There are many platforms that are used by various employees. LastPass enables us to grant access to the various platforms without sharing the login information, which provided an extra layer of security.
  • Manage passwords
  • Interested logins throughout the company
  • Pass retrieval
  • Better problem solving when an administrator leaves the company.
In the Finance department, the bank login information needs to be shared with different associates. LastPass allows me to give them access to the accounts without sharing the password so that in the event that they leave the organization, I can deny access without having to change all the passwords.

We use LastPass as a requirement for all of our employees. The ability to generate secure passwords with easy retrieval helps prevent our users from using the same password in multiple locations. Our production experience with LastPass is then presented to our clients as recommended for use in their environments.
  • Ease of use
  • Great pricing
  • Works on multiple platforms
  • Can be difficult to use for new users.
As a managed services provider, we find LastPass to be well-suited in every environment. The risks and vulnerabilities are increasing on a daily basis, so we find it necessary for businesses of any size to apply best practices for passwords. A small business with a single user will still have multiple passwords and accounts, so LastPass is still an affordable and effective solution.
